The Vatican have been puppets since at least the de Medici popes. If they were pulling strings they wouldnt be nearly so visible.
Hidden in plain sight, behind a veil of holiness, is the best way to hide.
Also, Daniel and John prophesied of the coming papal institution called MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREAT, MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS ON THE EARTH
Who else has lasted long enough, made alliances with more secular kingdoms, anointed kings and deposed them, brought Christianity into such blatant idolatry, made merchandise of Christians, persecuted, tortured and murdered Christians and Pagans alike. The amount of cognative dissonance needed to deny this is yuge.
And now just because we finally got a century or two of reprieve from that wicked institution where their power is nerfed into the shadows, people forget what they were for over 1,000 years. They think "oh they're just another denomination" BULLSHIT, They'd take over America in a heartbeat if they could.
And you could kiss your rights goodbye.
Ever wonder why the earlier Americans were so opposed to Catholicism? Now you know. It wasn't until fairly recent they were so welcomed by America.
