👉🏻 Link to yesterday’s post.
Holy Father, I was looking for directions regarding how I shall handle the next few weeks I shall be alone in the town while my wife is taking her Mum to a sunny place. You pointed my attention to Kaizen which basically inspire me to be consistent, rather than bulimic, whenever taking new approaches or learning new things. I just have to consider the situations I want to change for the better under simpler yet relevant angles, then weight the potential know-how and evaluate its utility in a practical context. This really lighten my early morning to consider this approach and I praise You for it.

AGENDA
👉🏻 Religious Observances
In Western Christianity, February 2 is observed as Candlemas, also known as the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord or the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This feast commemorates the event described in Luke 2:22-40, where Mary and Joseph brought the infant Jesus to the Temple in Jerusalem for Mary's ritual purification after childbirth, in accordance with Leviticus 12, and for the redemption of the firstborn son as prescribed in Exodus 13:2,12-13. The date falls exactly 40 days after Christmas, aligning with the biblical timeline. During the liturgy, candles are blessed and carried in procession, symbolizing Simeon's prophecy that Jesus would be "a light for revelation to the Gentiles" (Luke 2:32), representing Christ's role in dispelling spiritual darkness. The Eastern Orthodox Church celebrates February 2 as the Hypapante, or Meeting of the Lord, focusing on the encounter between the infant Jesus and Simeon the Elder in the Temple, where Simeon recognizes the Messiah. This is one of the Twelve Great Feasts, emphasizing the fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies through Christ's incarnation and presentation. The observance includes similar themes of purification and divine light, with liturgical processions and the blessing of candles, rooted in early Church traditions documented by figures like Methodius of Constantinople in the 9th century. In jurisdictions using the Julian calendar, such as the [Serbian Orthodox Church](/page/Serbian_Orthodox Church), the feast is marked on February 15 Gregorian, coinciding with Sretenje, which directly translates to "meeting" and retains the core commemoration of the Temple presentation while integrating historical remembrance of the 1804 uprising against Ottoman rule as a parallel affirmation of liberation.
