Sinai Law, the leading eviction firm in Los Angeles County, is now providing pro bono services to the Tongva Tribe to remove Billie Eilish from her $14 million LA home, claiming that her admission of living on stolen land gives the tribe a legal right to the property.
“Eilish's admission that she lives on stolen land gives the tribe a rightful action for possession as the true owner of the property.
The 30-day notice is already written and ready to be served.”
The tribe would have to prove beyond doubt that they owned the land long before California was sold to the U.S. Since neither Spanish, Mexican, or American records go back that far, there's no way to argue their claim is truthful. This will be most likely be thrown out in court as "no standing."
They'll attempt to argue they owned it by maybe providing evidence of habitation through burial grounds or some other means, but it'll be hard to prove it was that particular tribe habitating that specific area. However we're talking about California here, so there may be some activist judge willing to rule in the tribe's favor. On the other hand, it could also be argued that the U.S. aren't the thieves, that it was Spain, or even Mexico after they won their freedom, and that the U.S. has done everything legally under international law.
The Tongva tribe is hoping for an outcome similar to the so-called First Nation's game story in Canada. But, as leftist as California is, they still haven't gone full retard Left like Canada has, so I don't think this will really go anywhere.
