Something very strange is going on with this entire LARP. Yes, I think it's a LARP. The verbiage in the written statement and it's delivery lacks all genuine emotion, especially for somebody like Samantha Guthrie. It completely fell flat. Acting is a difficult business and is completely different from delivering news copy. I think the acting is very poor here and all three members of the family are disingenuous. The brother and sister are zombie-like and all three family members are not supporting each other. None of them shed a tear although Savannah attempted.

The CRS main job is essentially to manage the Fallout and narrative of any Major Crimes that may upset racial or political tensions. Part of that is essentially prewriting statements for Victims families. That are supposed to be as inoffensive, bland and generic as possible. They also often coach them on what to say. Which could explain the weird Statement and the lack of reaction.
