This is what happens when God is removed from a society. Belief in God and accountability to God binds a society together and guides their behavior. The founders of our Republic knew this and believed that in the absence of God, the Republic would fall. How right they were.

Human beings were created with a spiritual hole in them that only God can fill. If God is not there, something else will try to take His place. Call it by whatever label you want, socialism, communism, environmentalism, humanism, social justice, or any other number of radical godless belief systems that exist out there. These belief systems become a cult like religion in themselves that turns their adherents into fanatics for the cause. A cause they believe should be followed by everyone, whether they want it or not - by force if necessary.

Much of the turmoil we are witnessing, and have witnessed in recent history, is the result of these cultists exerting their godless behavior on our societies. You will know a tree by its fruit. The fruit on these trees is rotten to the core and can only produce more rotten fruit. This is a spiritual war for the soul of this country and its people. We may lose a few battles along the way, but we will not lose the war. Look at the numbers of Gen Z turning to God in spite of the bad behavior. Thank you Charlie. We have God on our side.
