Because like the Jesuits would say, "Give me a child up to the age of 7 and will show you the man.” - Which they got from Aristotle - Because you're in a hypnogogic brain state (theta/alpha) and when you are in this highly suggestive state you are not capable of making decisions like an adult. Shoveling shit they filled you with as a child is an ongoing task...It's LITERALLY embedded in your core...all the way down to your root chakra
