Do you know why Putin does this? First, the distance unsettles whoever is at the other end. These “visitors” need to shout to be heard. But Putin speaks in his normal voice. For those who are paying attention - France, along with Germany and Ukraine, trashed the Minsk Agreements which 8 years later, resulted in Ukraine murdering 15,000 innocent Russian speaking civilians living in the Donbas (now, after given a referendum) are living safely in Russia. In the Minsk Agreements it stated that no NATO or Nazi armies would be placed in Ukraine. And the reason for the SMO after 8 years of Russian people crying out to be saved was to deMILITARISE and deNAZIFY Ukraine

According to former German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the Minsk agreement served to buy time to rearm Ukraine. “The 2014 Minsk agreement was an attempt to give Ukraine time,” Merkel told the weekly Die Zeit. “It also used this time to become stronger, as you can see today.”

The extensive interview published by Die Zeit on December 7 is a rare exception.
Behind the scenes, however, Merkel remains politically active. In her office, to which she is entitled as a former chancellor, she employs nine people, four more than approved—an office manager, a deputy manager, two desk officers, three clerks and two drivers. She maintains regular contact with Scholz, as he himself has reported. She had already cultivated a good relationship with him when he was still finance minister in the grand coalition government.
All the more remarkable is her admission that the Minsk agreement served to buy time for Ukraine’s rearmament. “It was clear to all of us that this was a frozen conflict, that the problem had not been solved, but that is precisely what gave Ukraine valuable time,” Merkel told Die Zeit.
Previously, the Minsk agreement, which Merkel signed together with then-French President François Hollande, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and Russian President Vladimir Putin in September 2014, had been portrayed as an effort towards peace that the Russian president had allegedly later thwarted.
Now, Merkel confirms that NATO wanted war from the start but needed time to prepare militarily—an assessment WSWS has long held.
Ukraine has lost the war. Badly. If any companies (NGOs) that try to enter Ukraine (this has been stated not just by Putin, but also Lavov - Foreign Minister- they will be destroyed. This will be put in ANY signed Peace Agreement. Putin was tricked once, he won’t be fooled a second time.

I believe he knows all about who has been involved with Epstein. Is Trump protecting someone in his family?? For Trump to promise that he would get to the very bottom of Epstein, then when elected, slam the door in the face of millions, is a complete betrayal of those who have lost jobs, families, social circles etc for supporting MAGA and have stuck by Trump. A disgusting betrayal. I follow many boards, but I research as a priority. The words coming out of people around the world is frightening. The hate of all things America is sad to hear and see MAGA as deranged and a laughing stock. Likened to a cult after following someone that has betrayed and lied to them. This had NOTHING to do with politics as some like to throw, but about the mental stability of someone that has lied daily, bragged about stopping wars, caused grief to millions in threatening many countries and has done nothing to ease the worry of millions of Americans perplexed at his actions that have the world just shaking their heads in disbelief.
