The entities we're speaking of are soulless. I mean that quite literally. It's why we can't fathom what they do. A human could never do it. It's incomprehensible. (And yes I know there are biblical names for it, and there are worldly names for it, but for this answer we'll just assume we're talking about the same beings albeit with many different names)

Thus they continue to do it with free reign. Now the why is interesting because it dovetails with a lot of other things that we can't comprehend. Some we can speak about here, most we can't. I won't, at least.

But here are a few threads. And yes it gets bonkers the harder you pull.

We are not from here. Humans I mean. There are beings here that are from here. They walk and talk amongst us. They always have. Now this ties into a visit to our Whitehouse. A deal was struck because if it wasn't, the true "Armageddon" was going to take place.

This is where people get mad and stomp out. They think that this goes against there being a God. I disagree. I think both sides fit together alarmingly well if we just accept a few descriptors being either incorrect on either side, or we just agree to disagree on a few points.

Anyway, the trade off was supposed to be giving up recently deceased humans to them. Or any other expendable humans. Because they live for the blood. They survive on the blood. It's always been the blood... Our blood is their lifeforce. Adrenochrome is a red herring-that's evil humans that were tricked into believing that's what these beings were after. They were sold the ol' Ponce de Leon bit, and now there's an entire subset of bloodlines that are basically born into requiring adrenochrome for sustenance. It's actually a third eye opening drug, but it doesn't give you power over anyone.

Human blood does.

But back to the trade off. Knowing that they reside under the ocean and in far away lands we hadn't discovered, we were powerless to do anything to stop them. So of course, they began taking humans whenever they wanted, but not at epidemic levels. It started with our farmlands and livestock. Then undesirables were disappearing... But society just chalked it up to the increasing "crime rates". So now the government has a big problem. Soon the population residing in the hotspot areas were going to realize something was amiss.

They needed to create reasons for what was happening. And what began as an earnest attempt to save all of mankind turned into a constant cover-up of what they knew and an open invitation to even more carnage.
