Are you talking about things the rest of us could relate to, like pop culture stuff, or do you mean things personal to your own life? If the former, I'd love to hear what you mean in order to say to compare notes.
I experience the Mandela effect with things like the Froot of the loom cornucopia logo, but I also have my own personal experiences/memories that are shifting/disappearing. At first it was things like childhood memories that were so long ago that I just wrote it off to a faulty memory. But over the past year it has started affecting things that I am certain happened recently that I can find no record of happening.
Out of fear of sounding crazy I am not going to give any specific examples but I started keeping a journal because while I could remember that my own memories were different, after a few weeks passed I couldn’t remember what the old memory was.
You know how you wake up from a dream and the dream is clear at that moment and then a few hours later you can’t remember the dream very well? Take that feeling times 100. I’m sure I’m not dreaming and I’m sure experienced had happened or conversations with people or things that I have done that a few days or weeks later there’s no record of or the other person has no memory of the event.
I see. Thanks. I get it. I wonder if you might start recording conversations with your phone. That way you could refer back to them, as well as having your written journal. This is really interesting and if you ever get to the bottom of it, I'd love to hear from you. The whole mandela thing is just so weird. Thanks, fren.
