The statement:
was for the peons. The Cabal adjacent "compromised but not pure evil" people who DIDN'T get too far up the food chain. The people who were addicted to the "pure" adrenochrome, or worse, needed large quantities of sulfuric acid to dissolve the evidence of their "jerky" frenzy, won't be allowed to live.
