No, "yoga" is a six-discipline complete spiritual tradition framework going back many centuries. What Westerner's call yoga -> stretching (asanas) <- is just one of those six disciplines. The LEAST important of the six no less, more "assistive" than compulsory.

I’ll learn from to any religion that teaches peace, tolerance, and do onto others as you would have done to yourself.
