Not working out so well for Microsoft right now. They forced everyone into their intrusive new OS pig Windows 11 and it is backfiring big time. I guess almost 50% of those still using 10 have not made the switch - most don't intend to. I am one of them. Many are rejecting Windows all together and migrating somewhere else - for good. I am looking into Linux myself. Those that switched to 11 are not happy. Co-Pilot is an intrusive pain in the asteroids and systems are glitching and crashing. Businesses are also dumping Microsoft. Dell just announced they were switching. Investors are losing their sh*t right now with the latest corporate blunder of taking their customer base for granted and they don't know how to fix it. Guess they should have thought about all that before they decided to strong arm everyone. Not a smart thing to do here in the US.
Not looking too good for old Billy Boy right now either. The company he stole is having trouble and his name is all over the Epstein files. The scumbag may finally be getting some of what he deserves.
Have you studied more about switching to Linux? I made the switch just over 6 years ago when MS stopped supporting Win7. I had already made up my mind to switch to Linux before then with Gates' incessant blabbering about how to reduce people's "carbon footprint" by murdering them all through vaccines, as well as his Epstein ties. I switched to Mint and haven't looked back. I'd used Fedora on an old laptop 20 years ago, so that was my first exposure to Linux.
Now I have Mint on my desktop, Zorin on my laptop, Raspberry OS on my Raspberry Pi 5, and just last night I installed Bazzite onto a Dell mini computer, which is essentially the same as Steam OS on a Steam Deck. That's going to be my dedicated Steam machine.
I would recommend Mint coming from Win10. Zorin is alright and I think it caters the most to Windows refugees, but Mint is more versatile.
Mint is what I have my sights on when I switch. It is just the logistics of switching right now that I deal with. I am not as tech savvy as say someone like you. Not even close. So I am going to need some help in making that switch. I need to first get another backup storage for my user files. The prices for stuff right now is somewhat of a block and I have to plan. Thanks for the recommendations. I am sure there are others on GA that are also in the same boat.
