One of the most lucid dreams I ever had happened before I gave up weed for a while about 3 years ago. This was tbf after almost 20 years of using it.
Prior to this, the only dreams I tended to have (or remember vividly) were nightmares. Since quitting before my dad passed, I've had a few dreams but very, very few. Since he died I had a Lot of weed to help me cope (and to a degree feel a little closer to him), and tbh I've had a few dreams since. Nothing huge, but certainly not the "I don't have dreams" others have claimed.
That said, when I was regularly smoking the stuff, I will say I didn't dream as much or tend to remember my dreams at all.
