There's two distinct factions in this. One, is cloning themselves, or at least their generic material, in an attempt to achieve some form of immortality. Either by propogating their DNA across all of humanity, or [their] preferred sub-sect of humanity. (I think we all know which sub-sect(s) [they] prefer, or, at least one of sub-sects. "The nose, knows.")
The other, doing the same with cloning, but I'm conjunction with the AI-tranhumanist tech sub-sector, trying to find a way to effectively develop a way to "save"[their] consciousness and upload it to another body.
Both methods, in differing ways, achieves effective immortality. The first way, acheives it is the way Genghis Khan attempted (and some say succeeded in, seeing as by some estimates up to almost 80% of humanity has some amount of Genghis' known and confirmed DNA).
The second method acheives immortality akin the hat we saw in The Matrix: Resurrection. Download all your memories and psyche to a file and save it in an AI powered computer system, continue "living" in that cyber-Matrix until a prefect clone replica is made for you, then upload your file into that newly lab grown body. Rinse and repeat for all time, and you've bypassed the natural order of The Universe as God intended for us.
Do this for most everyone on Earth, and you've also effectively become a techno powered version of God Himself, as you could effectively lock undesirables and undeplorables into a techno Hell, powered by whatever AI program you prefer. Like some sort of evil, sick, and twisted Sims video game.
That allows them to play out literally ALL of [their] evil, sick, and twisted machinations on humanity, in perpetuity.
ESPECIALLY IF The People continue to allow themselves to stay distracted by all the near infinite psyops playing out.
One thing I've learned over my time on this planet, and definitely since I first started waking up more than 30 years ago, is that there is absolutely NO LIMITS these "people" will go to maintain [their] power and control over humanity.
I know what I said sounds crazy, insane, whatever. But think about all the research paths/roads all these tech, medical, and science bros are taking us, and what I describe doesn't sound too crazy.
Another path I see [them] taking is what I call the Cylon Path. For those that don't know, the Cylon is a "race" of robots humanity made in the Battlestar Galactica series. It seems to me that we have some of these tech bros researching how to upload a human consciousness to a fracking toaster. This would allow a human to effectively live forever, literally, or as long as the robotic body can without breaking down. If you die, you just immediately transfer your "consciousness" into another robot, or a synthetically made human body. Similar to the second method above, but also allows for a breakaway society to leave the planet permanently and begin colonizing other star systems without the need for figuring out faster than light travel. Elon Musk and others have alluded to something similar to this, a naturally born human turned cyborg being needed to properly colonize Mars.
In Epstain's case, though, I think he was just a megalomaniac concerned with his more base perversions than anything else. He legitimately got off on preying on young, somewhat already broken girls and impregnating them personally, then raising his own offspring to be used for his other perverted means. At least that's the way it looks to me.
