Jesus brought compassion, love, and a healthy moral authority to the world.
Those things were already in us, but were often suppressed or corrupted. Jesus' teachings and especially His example woke people up to how life SHOULD be.
Organized religion spread His word and example, while often misrepresenting / corrupting His teachings.
Despite that, His message remains, and despite it's flaws, organized religion helped to spread His message throughout the world -- Christianity today is THE LARGEST RELIGION ON EARTH, with about 31% of the world's population.
It's not hard to understand this girl's joy. Dark to light; grim to joyful, imposed hatred of all members of all "other" groups to "love thy neighbor."
