Make them actually look at the files for themselves.
These people are just searching Trump's name and seeing there are loads of results with his name in it.
Play dumb. Ask them for which files in specific. Maybe then they'll actually read the files they're using as a source and see that it's other people talking about him. If they don't read it, then read whichever files they use as a source and point out that there's nothing incriminating in those specific files, so maybe they meant a different file?
And you could also take a page from Trump's book and point out that if Trump actually has anything incriminating in the pages, he'd just have his name redacted. But it's not...so why is that? Or if he IS one of the redacted people, then his name wouldn't come up in the search.
They will always try to cope with some bullshit, until their personal life is affected. Most of these people simply do not know how to use the internet. The younger bunch drive me nuts. "Trending" DOES NOT mean accurate. Not one bit.
