Now if they introduced such a rule or law in the U.S. I think hell would freeze over.
Still. The only ones liable to actually admit to it. Are going to be the low levels who still think it’s a charity/men’s club. Anyone actually important and subsequently in a position to actually affect things and policy. Aren’t likely to admit to jack shit.
Sorry for the late (and possibly irrelevant) comment, but one thing that’s concerned me for a while is that several of the Founding Fathers were Masons. Notably, George Washington himself was a Master Mason. Would this mean America has been compromised from the very beginning? Not trying to doom but I personally found it unsettling.
Also, on a side note, I must admit there are times where I wish [that] group simply just existed to teach men construction and other valuable trades (as its public name implies on the surface, hence the “Mason” part), and NOT this disgusting “society” with its occult symbols and secrecy as it currently is and has been. But it would be pretty naive of me to believe it could have ever been, or ever become the simple organization I wish it would be. I ultimately believe it will be completely dissolved, top to bottom, with all assets seized, and most if not all of its members, (yes, I believe this should include the lowest ranks, too) will be questioned by the military as to just how far their involvement was in everything. Since the Q team already has it all, they would just need to confirm and match everything to the statements given. Then justice can be appropriately and swiftly served as needed.

Not to worry. It’s Something I’ve given thought to before as well. Many of the Founding Fathers were either confirmed Masons, Suspected Masons, related to Masons, or Close Friends with Masons. Several were in other societies aside from Free Masonry.
I’d be willing to bet. The Enlightenment, and subsequently the spread of the philosophical ideals that would later lay the groundwork for the modern notions of Republicanism and Democracy was more or less largely the product of Secret Societies. Too many thinkers and philosophers involved narrowly avoided Death on too many occasions to not suggest they didn’t have forewarning from men on the inside. And some of their philosophical points are Eerily reminiscent of the Theology and points of the societies.
I’m getting off topic. Anywho. If the font was poisoned from the word go. The slow walk and ‘By the Book’ obsession makes more sense. If the objective is to preserve the credibility of philosophical and political ideas who might find their legitimacy called into question. As the U.S was founded as a Republic and the oath the military took is to protect and defend the Constitution. So it makes sense they’d focus around preserving those ideas.

Exactly - this is a ruse.

Regardless of their origin
