Blue states are not business friendly - and it's getting worse. These companies are getting tired of being used as a piggy bank every time a state wants to find money to pay for their mismanagement and vote pandering. That's in addition to all the regulatory hoops and endless woke policies. As far as the jobs, the company will most likely offer them a job in FL or they can be laid off. Some of them might also want to move to FL.
The only thing I would add to this absolutely perfect post is:
Mismanagement = theft by design
You explain it in the next sentence after the use of this word very well as to how "some of it works".
Think of a waterfall, wide and clean and full of wholesomeness (money). The rules and regulations and woke policies are boards put in the way to divert this waterfall into little streams and tributaries like teachers unions and NGO's.
You can never ever EVER look at those because its "for the children" and you would never EVER deny "your children" anything, would you? Are you a monster?
Thats the key word and tricky phrase they ALWAYS use to discredit and demonize you. ALWAYS.
Stop falling for it. Unless there is an actual forensic accounting of how this money benefits your children directly, there will never be accountability. And even then, I would question it and ask for another accounting firm.

So, the added money/taxes of your property taxes, income taxes, water runoff taxes, gas taxes, (add your phrase here) taxes are all another grift on the public. Sooner or later they run out of other people's money - because those other people are all leaving. They refuse to play along anymore. All that will be left are the ones looking for a free lunch for themselves. When there is no one left to tax/steal from, those deadbeats will turn on their leaders in a heartbeat.
