It's absolutely beautiful, the people are friendly and welcoming, the prices can't be beat. Delicious food, gorgeous beaches. No homeless litering the streets. Vibrant communities with frequent cultural festivals and celebrations.
Anyone calling it a shit hole has obviously never been there.
Montezuma's revenge is a very real thing and it is funny that you say there's no garbage on the roads. I live in a place that was spotless and then our southern neighbors arrived and they literally leave bags of garbage on the side of the road.
They also let their children loose in stores unsupervised. And I believe there's now lists of illegal criminals you can look through at the ICE internet site.
My husband went fishing there evey year. They stayed in the tourist area only because outside was not safe.
Indeed there were certain areas with garbage piled up, but it wasn't anything like what you see in major US cities these days where there are homeless encampments spilling over sidewalks with huge piles of trash and people pissing and shitting in public spaces
Ok. I was in line at the bank. A green card person with his uniform code neon jacket was in front of me. I watched a cockroach crawl out of the neck of his jacket, run around a bit on the jacket and retreat down his neck. Horrified to say the least. The woman behind me saw it too. We both stepped back as far as we could.
And I have been to Mexico and I saw streets that looked exactly like the pictures of homeless in LA. and this was 40 years ago.
Imagine being dumb enough to take your vacations in this shithole.
Yep
