I have friends currently in multiple areas in PV and surrounding cities and they are all saying that while Sunday was briefly chaotic woth during vehicles on some roadways, and lockdown for half a day- everything is back to normal. Shops are open, beaches are full. No military presence, no cartel wars in the streets.

Indeed there were certain areas with garbage piled up, but it wasn't anything like what you see in major US cities these days where there are homeless encampments spilling over sidewalks with huge piles of trash and people pissing and shitting in public spaces
