Honestly, this may be the game:

If the SCOTUS ruled in favor of Trump on emergency tarrifs, then everyone would assume they're on his side
Once they rule that birthright citizenship is NOT constitutional, the normies and new cannot point to SCOTUS being compromised, because they literally "ruled against" Trump on his biggest campaign focus, tarrifs.

It's a win win for Trump. Birthright citizenship gets ended, and Trump still gets the ability to enact tariffs unilaterally.
