Project Dynamo, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2021, specializes in these kinds of high-risk extractions from conflict zones (Afghanistan, Ukraine, Haiti, etc.), having rescued thousands so far through donor funding and volunteer teams with military/first-responder backgrounds. Other groups like the United Cajun Navy have also reported similar rescue requests coming in from Americans feeling trapped amid the unrest.
