9 people were killed and more than 40 were injured in Beit Shemesh, near Jerusalem, on Sunday afternoon by a direct Iranian ballistic missile impact. The missile struck a residential area in the city, destroying a synagogue and causing extensive damage to a public bomb shelter beneath it and surrounding homes.
It sounds like the missile went through the main building and took out the shelter beneath it. I wonder if it was a hypersonic missile. But so far I haven't found anything else that kind of matches your original report. I will keep monitoring though.
Thx. The regular ballistic missiles, the reentry vehicles on terminal approach reach between mach 3 and 4. That alone could do the job.maybe. Hypersonic is mach5 and above . The Russians are way above mach5.
