There is a vast difference between Persians and Arabs. Iran was basically a secular western country until the CIA/Mi6/Mossad helped install the hardcore regime - so they could spend decades using Iran as a WW3 boogyman.

Persians are probably the most 'western' of anyone in the Middle East - and pretty much everyone outside of the Arab Muslim regime - pro-Trump. (Now at least, not sure about 5-10 years ago but hey)
