Trying to figure out how someone gets stabbed on an Interstate Highway??
Gallows Road (SR 650) is directly connected to the I-495 Capital Beltway, specifically on the southbound outer loop near Annandale, Virginia.
Exit 51 on I-495 is the interchange with Gallows Road (SR 650), located just west of the Annandale area.
The connection allows traffic to move between I-495 and Gallows Road in both directions.
As of March 1, 2026, the southbound lanes of I-495 between Gallows Road and Little River Turnpike (SR 236) were closed due to a police investigation following a mass stabbing incident, causing major traffic delays. This closure impacted access to and from Gallows Road at Exit 51.
Gallows Road serves as a key regional route connecting the I-495 outer loop to areas like Tysons, Merrifield, and Fairfax.

Scanner said vehicles were crashed and people were out on side of road inspecting damage. Those people were stabbed.
Someone in comments said it was a road rage incident, that may be related to a car accident.
VDOT? Guessing Virginia (Vermont doesn't have that much traffic), major city, maybe D.C.
