However, I also want to point out that the narratives being presented can be "narrative" as you are presenting here or just something that fits American nature as a country... so one would expect the reasons for war to fit within that. Not to get all altruistic with it by any means. I think that honorable objectives are unfortunately used as a cover or a bait-and-switch quite often. It comes down to this ChatGPT breakdown making an assumption that the wars happen because of these narratives, could it also be that these narratives are more instead responses to conflicts and/or anti-American interests? The flavour of the ChatGPT breakdown makes US involvement in wars seem more backhanded than I believe it was. Ok, much of this is just kind of thinking while writing - not my full thoughts on it at all and not terribly refined, but there you have it :)
