I remember how ruthless Trey Gowdy was to Hillary Clinton during the FISA Court Hearings and thinking he was a pit bull. Something happened to him immediately following that event and he wasn’t the same since (at least from my perspective). Can’t put my finger on it, but he softened somehow.
