This is so Protestant just lol. The Jews of the previous covenant had Temples. Where does Jesus say not to build places of worship?

They met in homes due to persecution and starting a new covenant. They still performed the Eucharist in these homes. Let me guess you are gonna tell me we don’t need any sacraments? You roughly 1800 years later know more about this than the early church? As the faith grew it became impractical to meet in homes. Do you think the ancient church would build physical places of worship if it was sinful or wrong?

This is the problem with Protestantism. It went from reasonable reforms to completely off the rails with heresy, justification of sin and makes the individual the ultimate authority.
