Maybe the concept of sarcasm is lost on them. I know a guy who was claiming that Venezuela would be a long, protracted war with Americans getting killed. Didn't happen, yet he still won't let it go. Every time Trump does some military action, he starts dooming, assuming that Trump is no different than Bush--the same Bush that Trump criticized harshly back when Republicans were afraid to do so. Now that friend of mine is complaining about rising gas prices because of this Iranian military action. SMH.
I know...I just ran into that yesterday - First thing they went to was "muh gas prices!"
I shoulda been like, dude ...Be thankful you're not in California... Or God forbid, Europe. Most have ZERO clue about anything AT ALL aside from entertainment like Sportsball stats - so why should we care too much about their thoughts on reality?
It's not like we can have an intelligent conversation about the city of London - they'd look at you like a chicken when teaching it algebra...

I've only just heard of this "City of London" stuff, but I guess it ties into the Corporate United States of America or whatever it's called, so I am somewhat familiar with the concept. This friend of mine is pretty based and he used to defend Trump when talking with his looney family. But he's Danish, and after the whole Greenland thing, he's become a doomer. Now it's "Trump is doing Israel's bidding." I told him that it ties into Venezuela for at least 2 reasons. First is that both are sources of oil for China and both are where evidence of Obama's treason is located.
