This is what even some Catholic Priests refer to as the Abomination of Desolation, the total corruption of the Temple of Christ, aka, The Church. May people think Solomon's Temple will be physically rebuilt in order for Christ to return, but Jesus himself said that Temple will never be rebuilt. That he moved the Temple from a physical place to the embodiment of Christ Himself and His Followers. WE are the Temple. So my extension, the Church becomes corrupted by Satanic practices within it, namely at the top, and it's this that the Abomination of Desolation is referring to.
