That may have been true in the past, but look at how many have entered politics nearly broke or in severe debt, only to see their wealth exponentially increase year over year while in office.

It doesn't take a financial expert to see that modern day politics is nothing more than fraud built upon a ponzi scheme of epic proportions.

There's only a handful of politicians in D.C. that seem to have remained relatively honest so have NOT become über wealthy as a result.
