Let me tell you a dirty secret about Florida Sheriff's and Police forces. Some (many) are actually partaking in human trafficking, for real.

These sting operations are deflecting attention from their own crimes, creating an impression like they're doing something about a problem they are neck deep in. These sting operations very rarely find real victims and there are thousands of them in Florida. They know what's going on. They're monitoring the internet very closely and yet doing nothing about the high-end clients and the real victims they're exploiting.

Even the narrative is disingenuous. They're not busting up human trafficking operations. Human trafficking operations are far more complex than creeps getting baited by cops posing as children. Human trafficking networks are multi-million dollar operations that involve criminal networks, hundreds of children and the police forces that turn the other way.

Don't forget, almost every time there is a Human trafficking bust in Florida, there is a Disney employee in the mix

Human trafficking is such a mild term for a serious crime, I'd even consider it newspeak. These are slavers.
