Agree. This "riding off into the sunset" bullshit is disheartening. Criminals will see that crime does pay and continue their bad behavior, if no one is (visibly) being punished. And regular folks like us just get a heavier load to carry, this thought that they're all getting away with everything. SOME punishments need to be public.
