Anyway, I'm aware he is quoting somebody else. My question is, why even bring up the quote? If he didn't agree with it, he wouldn't have quoted it. He wouldn't have made a point to make the statement. We can argue the Jew angle of things around the world and back but the fact is and remains, they don't believe in Jesus Christ in a Christian way. Messianic Jews aside. He just blatantly took a dig at my Lord and Savior. His prerogative I guess but I don't see how this helps anything other than to expose his desires, that most people would disagree with.

But since this is just a clip, we didn’t get to see the whole context of his speech and what his point was in using this quote.
Even so, it was a really dumb thing to say. And may alienate US Christian support.
You make a very valid point, why use that statement. I thought there was more to it.
