Stockholm Syndrome is when captives appear to protect and sympathize with their captors instead of with their own people, and strongly resist anyone trying to save them from said captors.
That explains the praising, singing, chanting, cheering, kneeling, and kowtowing to people who hate them - the muslims, criminals, gangs, and massively corrupt "leaders" who together control their cities and countries.
These people are acting out of pure fear of the above-mentioned groups. This leads to displays of pure submission to the invaders, hoping the invaders won't hurt them.
You cannot reason with these people because you cannot reason with fear.
