He didnt Like the Temple judging on the Fashion of what one Wore to Worship God (the "Woman in Rags" that the other people wanted Out), nor that God needed Money for a place to Worship,,, (What Does God care, ) where how fancy what you wear or place you worship is , as long as you do)
The Jews of Jesus's time did not have any rules against men and women intermingling. Yes, modesty was practiced, but it didn't forbid men and women from talking to one another, or meeting in public for religious instruction, for example.

I think you may be mixing up Jews and Muslims. Muslims are the ones that can't intermingle between the sexes, at least the most strict Muslims cannot.
