Those ballots were inevitably thrown out and not counted, too. It was determine that those 33,000 or so ballots wouldn't have swayed the election either way, and so were ruled irrelevant to the election itself. And then FL was chastised for not having followed the law as it is written and were forced to clean it's act up.
