Seldom few people actually understand or want to understand the complex web of Geopolitics. They want it simple stupid. An easy narrative.
Which is where you get the influencers. Who don’t actually understand it themselves. Who at worst are just getting a shitload of money to push narratives and shape how people think about Geopolitics and Foreign Policy. At best they’re well intentioned. But they’re working off a version and model of the world that never actually existed outside of narratives and propaganda.

You are so correct. Most people don't understand geopolitics and the realities of the world we live in - even those that claim they are well informed. The influencers are the worst. They understand very little and are making money pushing someone else's agenda. A great deal of that is occuring presently on the right.
