TL;DR - Leftist protestors are not stupid or crazy. They are actually very frightened of the muslims, communists, cartels, and deeply corrupt politicians who control their cities and states. They perform appeasement displays to them in hopes of not getting hurt.

Of course, Trump and MAGA fight back against the invaders and refuse to appease them. But the protestors only see this as provoking the invaders and then everybody gets severely punished - including them - which is why they have such a vicious hatred for Trump and MAGA.

The Leftist protestors we're seeing at the "NO KINGS" marches are not stupid or crazy. They are very afraid of their invaders and trying desperately to appease them in hopes of not being hurt.

Picture a dog rolling over on its back in front of a more aggressive dog. It is submitting in hopes that the mean dog won't hurt it. That's exactly what the Leftist protestors are doing.

When humans behave this way, it's called Stockholm Syndrome or, more recently, Suicidal Empathy.

What is Stockholm Syndrome?

It's a psychological phenomenon where victims in abusive or hostage situations develop positive feelings, loyalty, and emotional bonds with their captors or abusers and view them as allies for survival.

It's a coping mechanism rooted in trauma. It's characterized by sympathy for the abuser, distrust of authorities, and defending the perpetrators.That's what happened in the 1973 Stockholm bank robbery that it's named for.

What Causes It?

Power Imbalance with a significant threat to survival, making the victim feel utterly dependent.

Leftists have spent their lives being told that fighting back is bad and weapons are bad. They never learned to defend themselves in any way, so now they feel utterly incapable of doing so except in the most infuriating, nasty little passive-aggressive ways (like marching and screaming, marching and screaming, etc.)

But they know very well how ferocious muslims, cartels, and gang members can be. This includes those who control the blue cities where they live - people like Walz, Newscum, etc. So far nothing stops those leaders, not even Trump.

The Leftists know very well what happens to people who try to move against those groups. Like the J6rs. Like the Democrat MN state rep who was assassinated at her home after voting against what Walz wanted. Those are just two examples.

Perceived Kindness: Any small act of kindness or withholding of harm from the captor is magnified.

Democrat leaders suck up to these people and tell them anything they want to hear. And they pay them to protest. And they open the floodgates to let them commit massive fraud. It works.

Isolation: Being cut off from outside perspectives.

Thank the mainstream media for that, plus the Leftists' own refusal to look at any other sources of information.

Prolonged Trauma: An emotionally charged situation that lasts over time.

Leftists have been battling their own families and friends for many years now and struggling to resolve their own cognitive dissonance. They have to fight hard every single day to convince themselves that Right is Wrong and Up is Down. It takes a massive toll.

Positive Feelings: Developing affection, empathy, or loyalty toward the captor.

We've all seen them praising, singing, chanting, kneeling, and kowtowing to people who hate them.

Negative Feelings Toward Authorities: Distrusting police or rescuers.

Check. They feel free to abuse the police/authorities because:

1. the police very rarely do any actual harm to the protestors (though this may change now after the deaths of two protestors.)

2. this resistance is greatly pleasing to the abusers they are trying to appease.

Defending the Abuser: Protecting the captor and their actions.

To the death. Literally to the death. Nothing but submission towards those who hate them until it literally kills them, as it did those two protestors who were shot and killed in Minnesota.

Shared Identity: Adopting the captor's beliefs or goals.

Obviously. This is why they wear muslim or Palestinian garb - even hijabs - and hammer & sickle t-shirts - and wave foreign flags. "We're the same as you! Don't hurt us!"

Abusive Relationships: Domestic violence, child abuse, sex trafficking, cults, or even unhealthy work environments.

Sounds like normal life in a muslim-run or communist-run country. The Leftists defend all of this because they subconsciously believe these people won't harm them if they do.

Trauma Bonding: A term often used interchangeably with Stockholm Syndrome/Suicidal Epathy, describing the strong bond between victim and abuser.

A bond forged by the abuser's desire for power and control and the victim's desire to not be harmed. It's a match made in Hell but it really does happen, both behind closed doors and out in the open in these huge "protest marches" we're seeing now.

Is It a Mental Disorder? In other words, are these people just crazy or extremely stupid?

No. The condition known as Trauma Bonding or Stockholm Syndrome is not in the DSM (Diagnostic & Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders) but it is recognized as a complex trauma response. It tracks.

Is there treatment? How do you reach someone like this?

All I could find was psychotherapy (Talk Therapy.) Said to be the only way to process the trauma and understand the submissive bond. Usually needs reinforcement from mental health professionals and support groups.

So, good luck. Very seriously, I think this is why we have not seen more progress in the last ten years.

Most of us assumed that when the stories of the horrific trafficking and abuse of children started coming out, that normal decent people would rise up against it and throw the monsters out.

We failed to understand how extensive this trauma bonding/Stockholm Syndrome really is, because it's all deeply rooted in survival and nothing trumps that.

I've got family members who only get worse and worse and worse the longer this goes on and are probably out marching in pussy hats today.

If anybody's got any suggestions for this, I think we're all listening.
