I have a friend who's dad was given a few weeks left to live about 1-1/2 years ago. So they stopped all his meds. He started improving within a week. He's doing better today than before he got to the end of his life. My friend refused to allow them to restart the meds as his dad got better. Our medical industry is built on evil and corruption.
I had symptoms, and the doctor just gave me fluid tablets. If I slept with my legs raised so they wouldn't swell, I would get a rattle in my chest from fluid. I started sitting up to sleep, and the rattling went away. After getting cancer a little over two years ago, I lost a good bit of weight (over 80 pounds). My legs don't swell any more, and I can sleep lying down again.
I think weight is the main problem. Here's what I did. First, I stopped eating out of habit, just eating when I was actually hungry. You don't require three meals a day plus snacks. Secondly, I stopped eating a lot at each meal. That's called portion control. Thirdly, I stopped eating biscuits or rolls with every meal. That cuts out a lot of the carbs. Fourthly, I cut down on carbonated beverages. They swell your stomach and make you want to eat more. I am unable to exercise much at all because of other health problems, but I still lost the weight. Eventually, I hope some of the other health problems will go away so I can exercise more and lost even more weight. I hope to lose another 100 pounds in the next few years.
As far as the statins, I was prescribed one years ago for cholesterol. Several years ago, I stopped taking it. I told the doctor that my cholesterol numbers weren't that far from normal, and I could control it with diet. So far, so good. I have a smart doctor. She is agreeable to what I suggest, so I have cut out several other medicines and cut two medicines in half. I'm still doing fine. I wouldn't go to a doctor who doesn't listen to me.
You can try red yeast rice for cholesterol control. A friend was told to try that by her doc after refusing statins. It's working for her, so I decided to try it. The one I chose has CoQ10 in it, so 2 birds with 1 stone. I avoid doctors, so I can't tell you if it did anything for me, but no side effects so it's not hurting anything.
Your liver controls cholesterol. It produces exactly the amount that your body needs. If you are suffering from arterial inflammation, the liver will produce more cholesterol to repair the damage.
So avoid sugar, fructose, refined carbohydrates and "vegetable" (seed) oils to reduce inflammation. And make sure that you are getting enough magnesium, zinc, potassium, selenium, vitamins C, D3, E, K2, A, B, etc.
Cardiologist Dr. Stephen Sinatra said that he had gotten people off heart transplant lists by using CoQ10. Their ejection fraction had elevated enough to not need the transplant. His caveat is that some didn't improve. So, he checked the level in their blood and there was no CoQ10 there. He changed the brand and then they had good results. It pairs well with L-Carnitine to strengthen the mitochondria in the heart muscle.
I was rushed to hospital with tachycardia and arrhythmia in July 2024. I spent 2 days on a hospital bed with a dextrose drip. My heart gradually slowed back to normal speed.
On the third day I was taken to a tiny room with a man in a white coat who didn't introduce himself. He did a brief ultrasound scan of my heart and grunted, "The nurse will give you a prescription. Statins, beta blockers and anticoagulants. You must take them for life, otherwise you'll develop a blood clot, which will go to your brain and cause a stroke. Goodbye."
I researched and discovered that I was lacking potassium. I was already taking magnesium, zinc and other stuff. I added daily potassium. The arrhythmia gradually decreased over a number of months - years actually. I didn't take the drugs. I walk steeply uphill every morning before breakfast. I'm 75 and a lot fitter now than I was two years ago. Words can't describe how I feel about that man in a white coat.
Not mentioned here are recommended cholesterol levels. AMA keeps lowering the level so as doctors prescribe more statins. And then more Alzheimer's cases.

I think more of us are starting to feel this way about these medical experts.
