FYI - cats harbor parasites that alter your brain...

Toxoplasma gondii is a parasite carried by cats that can infect human brains, with up to one-third of the global population potentially carrying it. Usually harmless, it hides in brain tissue but is linked to subtle behavioral changes, increased risk-taking, schizophrenia, and rare, severe symptoms in immunocompromised individuals.
