A lot of sites could use special handling for handling recycled news. X especially.
Basically shouldn't be allowed to use alarm/red/boom/breaking/etc. if it didn't happen in the last day.
It's not necessarily bad to revisit stuff, and people often miss it the first time, but need a way to stop rewarding accounts that do it for views & create confusion.
I thought about deleting this post as soon as I realized it was old news. I chose to self report in the comments instead.
I almost always use the title of articles as the post title to help avoid duplicates. If users search words in an article title, the post will show up in search if it uses the same title.
In this case, I should have at least removed the siren, boom, and explosion.
Agree and hope you didn't receive any disrespect from my thoughts. I was actually referring to the X account as being rewarded, as there is no $$ in it for us here.
