Shouldn't they have locator beacons, GPS and portable radios?
They may not want to advertise their position.
Normally it is comm silent and then very limited comm.
I believe they do have a radio with a beacon but that's a question for u/Revodude
They have both beacon and survival radio. They most likely have a firefly for night. A special IR beacon.
The wingman or flight leader would have also remained on station for as long as possible. The other aircraft should have checked for two chutes and where they landed. And would have been tracking them on the ground with the Targeting Pod.
One of the two on the ground might have been picked up by Iranians. Friendly, I hope, but could be otherwise. I pray we don’t have a Goose. We had one in the squadron after I left, but that was a supersonic ejection.

If the enemy is embedded and hiding, how do you attack them? Draw them into the open. Why the hell would we be using F-15's if there were even a CHANCE of being shot down? We have the most sophistocated military hardware and technology IN THE WORLD. And now, all the IRGC loyalists and civilian sympathizers are scurrying around trying to catch a bounty... and we're watching where they come from and where they go.
