I'm seeing it right where I live. More inexplicable traffic accidents, people over-reacting to small irritations, etc.,. My husband had a rather bizarre interaction with a car mechanic, whom we've brought our cars to for several years. He threatened to behead my husband over a very minor disagreement. The guy wasn't joking, he was absolutely furious for no real reason. If anyone else had told me what happened, I wouldn't believe them, but my husband just doesn't lie, ever. He was stunned by this person's reaction.
I know everyone always says people get worse driving. And it's especially true in my area that's starting to get overrun with minorities/ immigrants but I've watched no less than 11 people run red lights in the last 2 weeks. There have been drivers swerving and I immediately thought they were on their phone yet when I passed them they weren't.
Very anecdotal but it definitely feels like somethings changing.
To your point I went to get my car washed and got called an asshole by an aggressive teen because i asked to see their menu (their services are on a sign prior to their booth so I inadvertently drove past it). I've had alot of edgy customer service interactions lately too over non issues.
