In some ways. Both AI and modern Democrats are largely non-empathic, as is the Left hemisphere of the brain. I believe Democrats typically are over-relying on the Left hemisphere, and indeed modern Western civilization is also.

The Left hemisphere is tool-using (meaning it's the hemisphere that can speak -- speech being a tool)-- and so was long called the "dominant" hemisphere, despite the Right hemisphere being physically a bit larger, heavier, and the one which sees the whole, the big picture, nuance, and so on. The Left hemisphere sees parts that it assembles into wholes and it is interested in utility; it sees people more as objects to be used than as humans, while the Right hemisphere senses connection with others and with all that is.

Yes, Democrats of today show more Left hemisphere characteristics than Right hemisphere, and AI for that matter is far more like the Left hemisphere than the right.
