Maybe it’s just me, but if I was part of the opposition in Iran, I would prefer a leader who has been there through the struggle. And, a leader without a title that might lead to the reinstatement of a monarchy.
As far as the military overthrowing the regime? I doubt the Iranian military even knows where to find them. For all anyone knows, they might have borrowed Zelensky’s green screens and are operating from a safe location in another country.
I get where you are coming from, but the Iranian people will be the ones to decide whether they want an already established monarchy or something else. As for the Islamic regime, if major players are safe elsewhere, I'd be highly surprised if the spy agencies didn't know where they are. Every move Trump has made has exposed the regime for what they are, including calling for literal human shields on bridges and power stations. Any casualties would be on the regime themselves because they were warned well in advance.
Yeah, we don’t know and I’ve found it interesting that Trump and Israel have targeted only IRGC leaders but not military leaders. This leads me to believe there is a strategic reason to skip them on the hit list
This 'crown prince' is a retarded dusty clown light-years away from internal Iranian elites. He's making a quick buck while he has a chance and I don't understand why people keep posting this shit like it matters.
The only thing that ever decides anything are the decisions among internal elites. And what sort of fighting goes on in those circles isn't something you can find on X unless there is an actual insider posting actually truthful information, which no one would do.
Every country has a deep state. It has all the power. This deep state isn't a monolith.
Pahlavi founded the Iran National Council, and a bunch of other 'projects', to which there have been criticisms of lack of transparency as to where the funding comes from. They do not have a publicly available list of donors, etc.
October 3, last year (2025) Pahlavi attended an event "A conversation with Reza Pahlavi" hosted by the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR).
Met with Chair of the European Parliaments Defense and Security Commission in January this year (2026).
IMHO it's enough to understand that the guy isn't part of the Iranian deep state and has no real authority or effect on any decisions that anyone is making inside Iran.

I agree, the Iranian people should be the ones to decide what their government should be.

He’s a British puppet. I would be surprised if Trump lets this spoiled rat anywhere near Iran.
I heard a comment by an Iranian about him “Why would we want someone to run our country when he couldn’t even save his marriage?”
Inclined to agree. Needs more research, tho.

CFR involvement is enough.
