• Did the peace deal with Hezbollah and Hamas in Palestine apply to Lebanon? Trump specifically stated that the conflict in Lebanon between Israel and Hezbollah was "not included" in this ceasefire deal, describing the Hezbollah conflict as a "separate skirmish".
• Did Trump signal that Hezbollah in Lebanon would get handled separately? In a phone interview with PBS on April 8, 2026, Trump stated, "Because of Hezbollah, they were not included in the deal," adding that the group "will get taken care of, too. It's alright".
