Although, some say he may have been placed in confinement/protection for his own safety. Some say Bolsonaro may have put in place a continuity of government declaration before leaving office, much like Trump did. Bolsonaro's son is in the election slated for later this year in October.
It will be interesting to see how this matures. I have faith the corruption will be removed from Brazil and much of the control the cartels had in South America will be eliminated.
