But can broken men build strong children? There seems to be a plethora of broken men.
I'm certainly trying, that's for sure. I try not to display my brokeness in public or in front of the boys. Reckon time will tell. There is a Rage on Behalf of The Machine lyric that says, "born of a broken man, but not a broken man." I hope for that for them.
Well, fren, at least you recognize your situation. Being aware will make you a more conscientious father. We are all broken in one way or another, but those who reflect and recognize that about themselves and actually desire to give their children a better life, will take the steps necessary.
If I can offer you some advice, seek Jesus. He is the great physician. When we are broken, He is the one who can heal us. All the best on your journey in fatherhood.
