My religion is not good. I am Catholic, I have said this because Catholics adore statues of saints Virgin Mary, among other things. I don’t touch those things at all, just go to pray.
My dear friend, I hope you will not be offended, that certainly is not my intent, however I was raised Catholic and was an altar boy, but when I came to Christ, I put away foolish things, as it is written, in (1st Corinthians 13:11) "When I was a child I thought as a child, but when I grew up (came to Christ) I put away foolish things. I no longer saw myself as a Catholic, but as a Christian (a child of the living God). (John 1:12) says " TO AS MANY AS RECEIVED CHRIST TO THEM HE GAVE THE RIGHT TO BECOME SONS OF GOD" so if you have given your life to Christ, you are not a Catholic, but you are now God's child. If you study (Galatians 3:28) you will understand that God only sees two types of people, those who belong to Christ and those who don't, those who are righteous and those who are unrighteous, there is no in between, in other words God does not see Catholics Protestants Jews Greeks, God only sees those who are in Christ (belong to Christ) (are his sheep) and those who are not. You yourself mentioned, the number of things, the Catholic Church teaches that is in direct contradiction to the word of God. In (1 Corinthians 5:6) we are warned that "A LITTLE LEAVEN, LEAVENS THE WHOLE LOAF" in other words a small amount of false teaching or sin can perminate and corrupt entire communities. Therefore in (1 Corinthians 5:7) God's word says "PURGE OUT THE OLD LEAVEN THAT YOU MAY BE A NEW LUMP". When you do this, as (John 8:36) says, you will be free. " IF THE SON THEREFORE SETS YOU FREE, YOU SHALL BE FREE INDEED" Christ has called us out of denominational churches (man-made) and into HIS CHURCH a part of Christ's body, which is the true church. "Study these things to be a good Workman, that does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of Truth" may God bless you and may God keep you may God make his face to shine upon you. In Jesus name. Amen 🙏
I kinda thought it might be in the same category as "adore statues of saints Virgin Mary, among other things." I am fairly ignorant of the Catholic church, raised mormon but became Christian back in late 1980's. When we travel though when we see one of those Catholic Cathedral churches my wife and I go inside and I am amazed at the beauty. My wife was a catholic as a child, and she sometimes still touches the holy water when we enter and does the cross thing that catholics do.
I talked to 2 men on Sunday, JWs both wonderful men, I've met with them for over a year now, I scared them last week, TRUTH is hard sometimes and I do not mince words....I know the Bible better than most and I'm NOT superstitious at all. I almost lost one of my daughters to a cult religion, Church of God Pentacostal, she needed surgery at 9 weeks old, she had pyloricstenosis, spelled wrong probably, she could not take in any liquid at all, she was starving, they, the church wanted her to die, I was suppose to be like Abraham and sacrifice my daughter...nah they lost, my daughter and her husband have 3 children today and their own painting family business to boot. I have never been back to that church or any other except when I'm watching for bad stuff.....I confront!!...yes fren, God does not want us led astray by religions that teach ritual and law...Jesus relieved us of all that crap with TRUTH, WAY and LIFE...HIMSELF the example..God Bless you
We do not adore statues, friends. And we do NOT adore the Blessed Mother. She is rightfully revered as the vessel that brought Christ to the world and raised Him. Adoration is reserved for God.
If you feel your church (pope with a circus on stage in the SNAKE pavillion) may be a cult...get out now...put God and TRUTH first.
Amen

God bless you and thank you for your kind words.
All you need is the word and a pure heart
That's it...so simple even a child can understand, probably better than adults.
I fell in love with Jesus when I was two.
Amen
Do you use 'holy water'?
Yes, why?

Correct, but that’s Jesus Mother so I ask her to pray for me like I do with people, I don’t adore her I just ask for her prayers.
